Two Dust Extraction Systems with Bag Filters using reverse air aswell as shaking mechanism for filter bag cleaning were imported along with the sanding machines for the Particle Board Plant. The dust laden air entry was from the hoppers with Forced Draft Fans. Air distribution on the filter bags was up-wards from the bottom against the down-ward movement of the dusts released from the filter bags.The requirement was modernisation.

The Bag Filters were modified for Compressed Air Pulse Cleaning of filter bags, pre-collection at the high side entry using Induced Draft Fans and down-ward distribution of dust laden air assisting down-ward movement of the dusts released from the filter bags. The system designs were also modified with balancing calculations. Performance of the Systems improved quite considerably and the operations of the Bag Filters are now very stable.
